We look forward to welcoming you all back to Llandarcy Academy of Sport from 6am on Monday 9th November – during the firebreak our small and dedicated team have been working hard to get the building fully functional following the decommissioning of the Field Hospital and we are delighted that we will now be able to introduce our new studio for the majority of our classes.
Following Monday’s Welsh Government announcement and subsequent announcement from Sport Wales there will be a number of changes in relation to “Organised Group Activity” with Indoor group numbers being restricted to 15 and outdoor groups being restricted to 30 Therefore:
- Adult and Junior indoor classes will be restricted to 15 (Instructors and Children under the age of 11 will be exempt from this number
- Outdoor Group Activities will be restricted to 30 (Coaches and Children under the age of 11 will be exempt from this number)
- Indoor Group Activities will be restricted to 15 (Coaches and Children under the age of 11 will be exempt from this number)
Public and Community Sessions
Bookable Individual Activity (e.g. – gym) will continue to follow the UK Active guidance to determine the capacity – therefore the same rules as before the firebreak and gym rules and usage restrictions will remain the same
In line with rules prior to the firebreak period face coverings will be required to be worn within the facility in all areas unless you are exercising – anyone who attends without a face covering will be asked to leave.
Toilets and changing facilities will be available within the facility however the strict two meter social distancing rule must be adhered to at all times
We are so excited as a team to be welcoming back everyone to the facility and we hope you like the improvements and changes that have been made.
