Pilates is predominantly a mat-based exercise class, designed to improve the overall posture. The session incorporates exercises that strengthen the core, improve mobility and flexibility and tones and strengthens the muscles being targeted.
Pilates is particularly good for preventing an injury and equally for people returning to exercise post-injury. The class offers a range of options making the session suitable for varying abilities, from beginners to advanced and including ante- natal and post natal participants.
