How fit do I need to be to start doing GRIT Strength?

This workout is designed to challenge YOUR fitness. Exercise modifications allow everyone to push their individual limits.

I'm pregnant. Can I still do GRIT Strength?

No, women are advised to reduce their exercise intensity during pregnancy so high intensity interval training is not recommended. We suggest talking to your doctor if you have any more questions about exercising while pregnant.

How many times a week should I do GRIT Strength?

LES MILLS GRIT is designed to complement your training schedule. Doing a LES MILLS GRIT workout twice a week will give you awesome results.

What do I need to bring with me?

Wear your usual workout clothes and bring a water bottle, a towel and a big attitude. We’ll do the rest.

Why is LES MILLS GRIT based on movement to blocks of time as opposed to working on the beat?

Movements to blocks of time allow you to complete maximum repetitions which allows a focus on power training – maximizing muscle output to hit top-end training zones. The music is an integral part of the workout but doesn’t dictate the pace. As you work to your own individual max effort, you can really push your limits – and that’s a fundamental component of LES MILLS GRIT. So if moving in time to music isn’t your thing, don’t stress, it’s there to motivate you, not confuse you. The great thing is for people who love moving to the beat is that it’s definitely still an option as the music also provides you with a base tempo to move to.
